Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how [Registered business/entity name] (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use Gully Championship (the “Platform”). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in accordance with applicable Indian data-protection law.
1. Information we collect
- Account details — name, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Profile & activity — teams, tournaments, registrations, scores, posts, listings and preferences you create on the Platform.
- Location — approximate or precise location, only when you grant permission, to show nearby places and services.
- Transaction data — records of entry fees and purchases (amount, status, order reference). Full card/UPI/bank details are collected and processed by our payment partner, not by us.
- Device & usage data — device identifiers, app version, log data and basic analytics used to operate and improve the Platform.
2. How we use your information
- to provide, operate and improve the Platform and its features;
- to register you for tournaments, process payments and deliver orders;
- to send live scores, notifications and service communications;
- to keep the Platform secure, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms;
- to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by a third-party PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We receive only the information needed to confirm a transaction (such as its status and a reference ID). We do not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank credentials on our servers. The payment partner’s own privacy policy governs how it handles your payment data.
4. Sharing your information
We share personal data only as described here:
- with service providers who help us run the Platform (hosting, maps, messaging/push, analytics and payments), under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
- with other users to the extent inherent in the features you use (for example, your team name and public scores);
- where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the Platform.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, resolve disputes, and meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. You may request deletion as described below.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of material incidents as required by law.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent (for example, for location), and object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected].
8. Children
The Platform is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the “last updated” date above; material changes will be notified through the Platform.
10. Contact & grievances
For privacy questions or to reach our grievance officer, write to [email protected]. Our registered office and contact details are on the contact page.
